A well planned fashion show incorporates design, music, elements of dance or move-ment, oral commentary, and lighting to present new fashion concepts

Write the narratives to fit the amount of time you have for the show.

Don't just describe the outfit, throw in the model's name it add a personal touch.

Audiences like shows that are not too long.

Don閳ユ獩 write a lot of detail about trim, small prints, or parts of a garment that cannot be seenfrom a distance. The audience will not be able to appreciate these details.

Use actions words in your writing as much as you can to give the show 閳ユ笓ife.閳?br>

Practice reading difficult names or fashion terms aloud, so you can pronounce them withconfidence. (E.g.. madras or indigo)閳?

Taped background music played during the show will help models relax and walk withgreater confidence.

If music is too loud, the audience will not be able to hear the narrator.閳?br>

Check the sound system at rehearsal before your show starts.

Arrange seating so that the audience can see as well as possible. For a room without stageor risers, plan to have the models walk down a center aisle. This will let more people get abetter view.

Walking in front of an audience can make you nervous, but practice will help you developskill and confidence.

If a video camera is available, tape each other as you practice modeling. Then, play backthe tape to see how you can improve.

Often a show is more interesting if two or more people are on stage at the same time.

Read through the contest info, they may be providing the models, make up and hair.

If not, contact a local beauty school and see if they recommend a student for this. Most beauty schools require their students to get real life practice, so this would be a great opportunity for them as well.

Just remember to be fierce and fabulous.

You want the hair to compliment your work, not draw attention away from it. Same for makeup. Look at your clothes. What do your clothes say? Do you select your own models, or are they provided? Remember to make sure everything fits well, and then to the hair. . . darling, keep it out of the way of your lines and make it compliment the lines. With makeup, use color combinations that don't make your models look like rejects from the 80's cartoon JEM, but pay attention to your clothes. If your fashion tends to have an eastern feel, go for GEISHA or even try the daring looks that work for anime. When clothes are business, you want the power look. Fun gowns should make a lady look like she's there to party. Here's a hint: check out sites about red carpet fashion and take a few tips from the stars.

Whatever you do, do not choose hairstyles that are awkward or contrasting to the fashions.

ok, for hair you can always do it on the side in a swirly bun, heres how you do it you put your hair up in a high pony tail to the side on the left but make sure you leave one bunch of strands on the opposite side and then start swiriling your hair into a bun when you get to the end make sure you leave some of the pony tail hanging and clip it. I can't really give you any make up tips untill i know what you are wearing.
